NANS SENATE PASS VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON MARSHAL

The senate of National Association of Nigerian Students, Oyo State has passed a vote of confidence on the Chairman,Asubiojo Olujuwon popularly known as Marshal. This was done in their sitting held today. See full communique below

COMMUNIQUE OF NANS OYO STATE SENATE SITTING ON 19TH OCTOBER, 2019 HELD AT FEDERAL COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE, MOOR PLANTATION

The Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Oyo State Axis  Asubiojo Olujuwon (Marshal) on 29th of October presided over the Senate Sitting of the association.

The Chairman called for the introduction of senators and explained to the senate issues surrounding his detention along with the Treasurer.

Senator Olamilekan Ojo, the Students Union Government President of Federal Cooperative College, Eleyele, raised a motion that the Senate should pass Vote of  confidence on the Chairman, the motion was seconded by Senator Tiamiyu Taiwo, the Students Union Government President of Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology.

The senate unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the Chairman  and assured him of their continued support.

The senate declared recess to wait for the arrival of the General Secretary who said they are almost at the venue of the sitting

The senate could not reconvene for security reasons as hoodlum led by the Vice Chairman, General Secretary and the National AGS who later held the Chairman hostage invaded the venue.

2019/2020 SECOND BATCH SCREENING EXERCISE

The 2nd Batch Screening Exercise for 2019/2020 Admission into The Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo will hold on Thursday, 17th October, 2019.

ELIGIBILITY INTO THE PROGRAMMES
1). Candidate(s) who made the Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo as their choice of institution during the 2019 UTME and whose score is 100 and above.

2). Candidates who did not choose the College initially but scored 100 and above are also eligible to apply after effecting a change of institution to the college and making the college the first choice.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

1). Candidate will be expected to complete the admission screening form on-line starting from 1st July, 2019

2). 2 copies of UTME e-notification of results slip.

3). Original and photocopy of the print-out copy of the on-line completed admission screening application form.

4). SSCE/GCE O’ Level (WAEC/NECO) (NABTEB for Vocational & Technical Courses only) results or equivalent.

TIMSAN  AND MSSN APPOINTS GAOZU AND OWOLABI AS PRESIDENTS RESPECTIVELY

Tijaniyah Muslim Students’ Association of Nigeria (TIMSAN) , Sped Chapter has appointed the 1st runner up in the last SUG election, Durodola Afees a.k.a GAOZU has acting Imam/Muqoddam/President of the Association.

Surprisingly another Muslim organization on campus, Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) also appointed another SUG Presidential Contestant who came last, Yekeen Owolabi as her Amir.

These appointments has raised various reactions from members of these organizations who think it wrong to compensate politicians who lost elections with religious positions.

Students are waiting to see if Christian bodies will also do the same for Christian contestants.

KENT WINS SPESAN PRESIDENCY

Akinduro Okeowo a.k.a Kent from Chemistry Department has won the just concluded Special Education Student  Association of Nigeria.
Kent was declared winner of the election this afternoon after pooling 536 vote to defeat his nearest opponent Ibrahim Naheem a.k.a Mascot.

MSSN SPED CHAPTER  CONGRATULATES THE APPOINTED DEPUTY PROVOST

SUG CLERK,POSI,WRITES OPEN LETTER TO SCIENCE STUDENTS AHEAD OF ELECTION

The Clerk of the Students Union Government who is from school of science has written an open letter to students of the School.
